WHY LoveME Healing Tools?
At the start of my breast cancer journey all my thoughts were on getting the cancer out of me - the physical healing that the medical team was focused on. That didn't even begin to touch all of things that would change and need to heal.
What about the stuff that no one talks about or the things I didn't see coming like:
- the overwhelm and managing all the updates as to how I am doing and treatment progress
- how my tone and what I shared about my diagnosis would mirror back to me, therefore I had to be intentional in the messaging
- all I would forget or have trouble remembering later - taking notes was critical
- the things that I would have to let go of that no longer served me and create the space to heal
- learning about boundaries, where I needed them and how to get started
- how to respond to "how can I help" when you aren't used to asking and in a way that evolved with the changing healing needs!
So, I created tools and resources that I couldn't find to help me in MY journey. Now I want to share those with others going through this journey too. Whether you are a caregiver, a partner, a friend or relative you have so much to offer!
